Comprehensive Guide To SEO
This is a very comprehensive guide that leads you step by step through the process that is SEO.
This how to doesn’t waste any time. In the the very first paragraph the author mentions the value of finding low competion keywords that can be used for Search Engine Marketing. If you don’t know how to go about finding these low competion keywords, there is also a link to a helpful guide the goes into detail about low competion. Here you will find a the best ways to find overlookedkeywords using the Adsense keyword suggestion tool. This suggestion tool was originally meant only for Adsense, but it has become a favorite among webmasters for finding the low cost, low competition
The next topic covers the different variations you should use on blogs and websites. There is also a simple explanation as to why it matters how you use Search Engine Marketing, and believe that it does matter. For instance “Websites that don’t update their homepage and have a fixed homepage have an advantage” simply because for the most part the content doesn’t change. Blogs are constantly updated so you should focus your Search Engine Optimization
The guide then moves right along to On-page Optimization. and things you should keep in mind when practicing Search Engine MarketingSearch Engine Optimization. Things like page title, headings, body text and meta tags. This section is full of helpful do’s and do not’s.
Off to off page opimization otherwise known as back linking, this is a must read if you are going to back link for your webpage which is really is a no brainer. Next to content, back links are king! Back links may even deserve top billing because you could have all the quality content in the world unless you have a good amount of back links no one will ever visit your page outside of PPC or PTC. What you really should strive for is quality natural traffic.
There is a little analogy I like to use when explaining the principle behind having a large number of back links. Imagine the internet is a real place with locations and signs everywhere pointing you in every which direction. The more “signs” (back links)that point to your “location” (website)the easier it will be for people to find you.
There are also tons of other resources in the form of other posts relating to SEO. One of the more interesting one is probably “The Long Tail Keyword Strategy” all in all this is a one-stop-shop for anyone wanting to practice better SEO.

I personally think that as time goes on, methods of on-page and off-page search engine optimization are going to change as we know it. I think we will see a transformation to client factors in determining SERP results. That included with advanced personal SERP results and we’ll be seeing a huge molding of the users experience with Bing and the other search engines. Each search result won’t be made alike, take a look at things like user involvement, bounce rate, bounce time, etc… Put your energy on a better site all around, and I think you’ll see better results in 2010.

Great post! I am just starting out in community management/marketing media and trying to learn how to do it well - resources like this article are incredibly helpful. As our company is based in the US, it?s all a bit new to us. The example above is something that I worry about as well, how to show your own genuine enthusiasm and share the fact that your product is useful in that case.
May 23rd, 2010 at 6:09 pm
Resources like the one you mentioned here will be very useful to me! I will post a link to this page on my blog. I am sure my visitors will find that very useful.

While this subject can be very touchy for most people, my opinion is that there has to be a middle or common ground that we all can find. I do appreciate that youve added relevant and intelligent commentary here though. Thank you!
